In 2014, she played the legendary Komiks Dyesebel character in Mars Ravelo's Dyesebel. The actress was also host of It's Showtime, an afternoon variety show (2009-2020). Curtis was born in Yarrawonga, Victoria, Australia the daughter of Carmencita Ojales a Filipina from Bolinao Pangasinan and James Ernest Curtis-Smith, an Australian lawyer. Her father James Ernest Curtis-Smith, married Ojales in 1982. Jasmine was her sister younger than her. She is also an actor. Clare was a cousin of the family of their father. Clare passed away at the age of four months of age in the year 2007.
