Born and raised in Pennsylvania Molly began working professionally when she was thirteen years old at Philadelphia s Prince Music Theater in a production of The Snow Queen. Then, she played Little Red Ridinghood for the Arden Theater s Into the Woods and was nominated for a Barrymore Award. The actress reprised the role in her Broadway debut at the age of 15 in Into the Woods on Broadway in 2002. In the same year, she was nominated for a Drama League Award. Molly was also in the Broadway version of Fiddler on the Roof in 2004. Molly attended Princeton University as a Triangle Club Member and received a B.A. in Religious Studies. When she was in the university, Molly began her acting career in Disney College Road Trip playing Wendy Greenhut. Following graduation, Molly was in Off-Broadway productions of several productions, including End Days at Ensemble Studio Theater as well as in a few television work including Royal Pains and an HBO Pilot The Wonderful Maladys. Molly was in the 2008 Barrington Stage Company production of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee and in Westport Country Playhouse's 2010 staging of The Diary of Anne Frank in which she played Anne. Molly has been a star in a variety of regional productions, such as The Diary of Anne Frank in Westport Country Playhouse's production in 2010. In this play she played the teenager daughter Ali.
